Important safety
- Boxed warning: thyroid C-cell tumors observed in rats.
- Do not use with personal/family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).
- Serious side effects may include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, acute kidney injury, severe gastrointestinal reactions, and severe allergic reactions.
